I like how Stabenow is so safe that even political pundits seem to forget that Trump won Michigan and don't even mention it anymore.

At least he’s smart enough to realize that Montana is more competitive than Wisconsin/Ohio/Minnesota/etc., lmao.

Not mentioning Ohio is interesting, though not wrong.

Interestingly, these are the 9 states I consider competitive, though I'd throw in Texas.

Thank Mitch for not listing Wisconsin as competitive. The so-called experts think Baldwin is somehow going to lose.

No one mentioned Obama winning Indiana as a plus for Brad Ellsworth and/or a huge re-election for Evan Bayh.

Coats coasted back in with no dispute.

I don't see what makes Michigan so special, especially since Trump won it by less than the above point.

Mostly sensible list, but replace Florida with Texas.

Not a bad list, though I think Florida will be dropped if things get better for the Democrats. At least he's not pretending that Baldwin is in trouble in this environment.

Good list, though I'd either add Texas or replace Arizona with Texas. (though McConnell is probably assuming a McSally win)

Michigan has only a D+1 PVI. Indiana didn't have a R+1 PVI in 2010.

This just shows McConnell isn't stupid, unlike 95% of the so-called experts.

He gets points for recognizing Wisconsin isn't competitive just because muh Trump, the only choices I'm sort of questioning are Florida and Texas.

ITT I think a lot of people are underestimating how close Florida will be

Rick Scott is a two term governor with ~60% favorability ratings (almost twenty points above Trump), eight figures of his own money to donate, good connections with big donors, and a knack for winning close elections

I've been trying to tell Atlas this for months but nobody wants to listen (a significant portion of users have it Likely D or akin in their ratings). I think Nelson can win, but he just seems so old and out of touch compared to Rick Scott, who is admittedly out of touch himself. Scott will campaign like hell, and I doubt Trump is too unpopular in Florida right now.

Republicans don't even have a wave insurance candidate in Michigan, lol.

The race could be closer than some people on this forum seem to think. John James isn't that bad of a candidate. But it's still going to be an uphill fight for the GOP, to say the least. Guessing a 55-45  victory for Stabenow atm.

John James has never led a primary poll...

If you want to go racist anti-Jew against Morrissey, the way to do it like a proper West Virginian is to say that he is from New Jewsey.
