Ted Cruz. He was a hardcore right wing economic republican and Ted Cruz most closely resembled that. Carson would be a close second.
(And that's why Raese lody the senate race. He was a cruzesque libertarian in a state that hates that kind of economic policy, they only vote GOP b/c the democrats environmental policies + Social issues.)
