Wow, big names agree with President Trump, including the great former Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs (2010-2012) Uri Rosenthal!

The only names on that list I were familiar with are Harper, Howard, Trimble, and West. Allen West is obviously a confirmed moron. Harper and Howard supported the Iraq War, so it's not much of a surprise that they like a foreign policy decision which was incepted by John Bolton's brain. Not sure about Trimble though. Did he support the Iraq War too?

The people who supported the Iraq War and signed this letter are assholes.

no, we just haven't forgotten 9/11

Why would I forget my favorite holiday?

They literally made it into a holiday.  It couldn't have been that bad.

not a holiday to celebrate, one to remember the people who were harmed or killed by those who hate our freedom.

When I think of holidays, I think Christmas.  Wikipedia says 9/11 is a holiday.  Therefore, you celebrate 9/11.

I don't understand how this is complicated for you, you insensitive bastard.

i'm not insensitive. you are for thinking that America shouldn't go to the ends of the Earth to avenge 9/11

When was the last time the United States celebrated the slaughter of the innocent?

are you saying the Americans who were murdered on 9/11 weren't innocent?
Seriously?

i'm stupid. dumb it down for me.

When was the last day that we celebrated a terrorist attack against us? We don't have a day off for Pearl Harbor, the burning of Washington, or the assassination of Lincoln, or Kennedy nor of the dissolution of the union.

We remember! Pearl Harbor Day is a thing I think. I remember I dated a girl whose birthday was December 7 and Shoney's always did a free pancake thing or something on that day.
So you want free pancakes on 9/11?
But more importantly, was anything with Pearl Harbor used as a cause of action in the year 1958?

Enemies today are no more (or less) crafty than they were in the past.

We have done as much "avenging" of 9/11 as is morally possible. Those that we could find who were responsible have been dealt with. Continuing war (that has no proof of success in regards to "avenging," and actually seems to be encouraging more to fight against us, which is the opposite of our goal) at this point is a senseless waste of money and lives.

An eye for an eye leaves everyone in the world blind. While what happened on 9/11 was horrible, it should not be used to excuse pointless war against countries that have a religious majority who just happen to be the same religion (in name only) as terrorists. Not only have lives been ended and destroyed by our actions, but the trajectories of several countries have been completely changed, and not for the better. People will be affected by this war for generations.

9/11 is beyond avenged. Those who died that day have long been dead. Let them rest and stop pulling out their skeletons to scare people with. They deserve better than to be a prop for militants.

It was awful that 9/11 happened but nothing like that has happened again. I think it was a one off thing and the perpetrators were brought to justice. Yes, there have been kamikaze attacks and shootings in Europe but they are a lot closer and to be frank, we have had people kill just as many here for various reasons such as having too much money or being unable to find a woman.

Maybe we can ask our friends in Riyadh - even as they and Israel collude with the newly empowered  Bush II-era Axis of Evil to start yet another war, invade yet another Middle Eastern country, and topple another sovereign state’s government  - if they know anything relevant regarding 9/11.  Roll Eyes

Maybe we can ask our friends in Tel Aviv about their illegal possession of nuclear weapons and their decades of lying about it.

Hey, if we're gonna play this game about supporting terrorists and amassing illegal arsenals of weapons of mass destruction, let's play.

Israel wasn't threatening the United States, even if they were in possession of WMDs, they're on our side.

"Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists" and Iraq, as well as Iran, Syria, Libya, and others, chose not to support the USA, meaning that they were aiding the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 by not joining the coalition against the terrorists.

You think Trump is a terrorist and enemy of the United States? Interesting.

Have you already volunteered and failed the physical? I imagine that in a draft, they would not exempt individuals that have subclinical to functional autistic tendencies. People in poorer mental health were able to get in during the surge. Saw that in a Time article. It was kind of ficked up because they pressure a new kid into drinking his own pee.

I mean, I had a guy I worked and live with for a while said that he told the Navy he wanted to be an ensign when he was looking for his first job and said that when they discovered that he was medicated by an impatient 1st grade teacher, they never got back with him.

I'd say if we all have to go, you can probably get in there...probably not otherwise.

The Iranian people are proud people who call themselves Persians as opposed to Arabs.

But their leadership needs to be removed and replaced with a democracy.

Tight financial sanctions may not work if they are in bed with Russia.

Trump thinks what is happening with North Korea will work with Iran.

Good luck!

Here's a thought. Maybe Iranian people should decide for themselves do they need a change in leadership, not you.

He said it by accident but this is the key thing in heads of these neocon fools. If they are on our side, everything is ok, killing women and children, no democracy, no women rights etc. But if they are not on our side, then let's go to war to protect human rights.

Good riddance it's gone.  It was a terrible deal.  The Iranians would have worked on nukes anyway.
