So, CNN projected Larry Hogan the winner of the 2014 Maryland Gubernatorial Election with a vote total of 924,605 (54%) to Anthony Brown with 769,409 (45%). However when the election was certified, Hogan didn't even reach those results, with 884,400 (51%) to Brown's 818,890 (47.2%). Is there a reason why this happened? Does anyone know?

I don't know, but I'd be really curious to find out.
