I just caught myself being bored today and decided to organize states by median household income for Non-Hispanic Whites and that I couldn't find something like this. Probably was good for me to do this anyway to understand different states a little bit better. I plan on doing this for other races as time goes on. Hope you all find this useful.

New York seems quite low and Texas quite high compared to the CW.  Also Florida is really low (though this is income, not assets, so retirees will look poorer than they really are).  It's also interesting that there's much less variation in median household income vs. median home value between states.

Mind posting sources and the aggregate data for each state?

As far as the source, I got it from Statistical Atlas.

Upstate NY is whiter than the NYC area and doesn't have high incomes.  NYC also has smaller households.
