I've never been in a Hillary state and the sole Obama state I've been in for any meaningful amount of time is Florida. I went to Indiana at one point but for like 30 minutes.

Yeah, pretty sad: I just realized I've been to around 20 states in adulthood, but I've only been in 4 Clinton states in that time - and 2 of those were merely me passing through to get to Philly, while the third (NJ) I only ended up in because I took a wrong turn LOL. Well, there's California at least.

Almost every state I have been to in my life, I have visited at some point in the last four years (since I turned 18) as well:

Trump: TN, AL, MS, GA, FL, SC, NC, KY, PA, TX, Layover in MO
Clinton: NJ, DE, MD, VA, CA, (DC), Layover in IL

The other places I have been were really close to 18:
LA- 11 days prior to my 18th birthday
MI- Layover, also 11 days prior to my 18th birthday
NY- Five months prior to my 18th birthday
WV- Drive-thru, Just before my 17th birthday

Also the "as an adult" qualifier doesn't change much, as a kid the only other Hillary states I visited were Maryland and Virginia (and DC) and only in quick day trips while mostly visiting DC.

I had to think about Iowa for a bit, but I've been to all six counties Hillary carried and none of the ultra-conservative ones. I bet Hillary won amongst where I've been.

I actually checked Indiana. Trump's margin in all the Trump counties I've been to is just barely enough to cancel out Marion County's margin...but then that leaves Lake. So Hillary won BRTD-visited Indiana.

Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska are interesting in that I've been to every Hillary voting county in them. And could in Missouri too if I ever visit Boone County.

Counting only the 8 states I've visited since turning 18, I'm pretty balanced; there are 4 Trump states (OH, PA, WV, and KY) and 4 Hillary states (NY, NJ, MD, and VA). Though going to NC and TN over the next week will ruin the pattern.

Expanding it out to all the states I've visited in my life gives you 16 Trump states and 11 Hillary states, plus DC -- though of course the whole exercise is skewed given that Trump won 30 states to Hillary's 20 in any case. You can't be expected to visit equal numbers of both.
