Would someone who thinks capitalizing words is too hard be a good representative?

Although I wouldn't vote for your namesake - I could never support delusional liars.  Wink

i was watching c-span tonight.

our old friend john edwards actually advocated a $7.50 minimum wage and outlawing the hiring of replacement workers.

i nearly vomited on the floor.

I'd vote for you, depending on the circumstances. Although we're in opposing parties I don't always disagree with you so you must be okay.

No, I'm just basing this on a general feeling. His posts seem thoughtful and don't get me mad like certain others sometimes do. Besides, no one from New England these days could be a political extremist (I hope).

Because its just not the way people behave around here. (Broad Generalization, I know), its a stereotype, but seriously, if the closest we have to an extremist is Ted Kennedy, then its obviously a peaceful place.
Thats why I get so annoyed with Santorum, he's seems like a deranged maniac by this region's standards of public decorum.

I'm getting the sense that Walter Mitty is more conservative than I first thought.

I don't think I would even vote Mitty for School Board (uniforms, ect..).  Perhaps on some obscure city commision that has very little power.

You seriously must live in a cave.

Do you mean a cave b/c of my New England comments, or b/c I don't know Walter Mitty as well as everyone else? It has nothing to do with a cave, I just haven't been around here as long as you.

$7.50 was my starting wage at my current job, so I don't see why it'd be bad a as a minimum wage.

No, because I'd doubt very much that I'd agree with him on the issues

A populist Democrat voting for a libertarian Republican would be like slitting my own throat Wink

Maybe you are blind. My family owns a store, and if we had to pay $7.50, we'd sink. Try not to base things off your own life; it will lead to a sad life.
