When it comes to a scandal, there is already Cruz's implication in the Camridge Analytica affair. But I wouldn't be surprised if there is another major scandal haunting Cruz before November.

IMO O'Rourke could also put Cruz under fire for Cruz's role in the lawsuit defending a Chinese company that stole an American invention and blueprints, thus taking advantage on economic issues.

Likely R, but slightly closer to Lean than safe.

O'Rourke is probably the best Dem candidate in years, and he'll put a good performance, but will still lose. Likely R.

At least for now. That's what I think.

Lean Republican. Cruz is advanced and probably winning around 53-45%, but he could still blow it. Beto can win, but is it likely? No.

Lean R. Beto is a pretty good candidate and Texas is turning bluer, and not to mention Ted Cruz is pretty unlikeable while Beto is fairly likeable, for whatever that's worth.

For now, I think Cruz wins 53-45 or so, but he could blow it if the environment gets really terrible for the GOP or he implodes with a scandal or something.
