I was just wondering (may or may not introduce legislation on this).

Voted yes, but after reconsidering, I lean towards no.

I'm confused, do you mean past 20 minutes or past the election?
Currently it's limited to 20 minutes past. Yes would be for allowing ballot editing until polls close, long period allowed would be for extending the amount of time in which ballots can be legally edited, no would be for keeping it at 20 minutes.

No, keep it at 20 minutes. Otherwise a bunch of people would try to strategically tweak their votes, which could easily lead to (hilarious) unintended consequences if too many people change their votes at the end.

But keep it an option to invalidate your vote at any time by posting again.

TBH a 20 minute grace period is already too lenient.

Yep. 20 minutes is a reasonable time-period for editing if people make a mistake, but it's too little time for parties to reasonably be expected to be able to flip or intimidate voters. It would be a nightmare if people could change until Sunday evening, and there could be weird results too if there are lots of tactical changes. Let's not go down that road.
