well, US Civil War reenactments don't use tiny children as props/propaganda.  Clearly they learned this from a group a little closer to them physically and culturally.

One of my friend's growing up had a dad who was a Civil War Reenactors. I can therefore say with absolute certainty that this group of bizarre extremists (Civil War Reenactors that is) use tiny children as props.
