Of the choices, I'd say Hail, Columbia. I would say that My Country 'Tis of Thee, but the fact that it's in tune with God Save the Queen would be confusing. Maybe if we lived in an alternate universe where the anthem of the United Kingdom was Rule, Britannia.

However, I believe that the anthem should be Proud To Be An American.

Like as if the civil rights movement completely abolished racism in this country. Newsflash: 14-year-olds are getting shot for asking for directions to school and people are being arrested for sitting while black in a Starbucks.

The United States of America is fundamentally racist. It is ingrained in its fibers, its institutions and its “justice” system.
