Lol, Walker at -7 in a blue wave. And people still think his race is Lean R.

Walker hasn't fully hit the campaign trail yet. His numbers will rise. He knows how to win Wisconsin better than anyone not named Ron Johnson, because he knows how to harness the power of the suburbs. Romney numbers in WOW and Trump numbers elsewhere is possible.

I can't wait to see Walker lose with Trump numbers in WOW and Romney numbers elsewhere.

Didn't realize Bill Walker was in such a bad position in Alaska.

Also, if Hogan's numbers keep that high, I don't see a reason not to rate his race Likely R.

Sorry but I don't buy that Jerry Brown and Ducey have the same approvals.
These numbers are insanely favorable for Republicans.

Agreed. His approval rating may well stay underwater, but it doesn't mean he'll lose. Race is a tossup at this point.

The great thing is that Republicans have so many termed-out Governors that Democrats don't even need to knock off a ton of incumbents to make up major ground. And then for a couple more - Baker and Hogan, the very Democratic legislatures make them much less critical, and their seats can be taken back in 2022 relatively easily. Phil Scott is basically the same situation but without the term limits, and Sununu is probably going to lose his Republican legislature this year, even if he hangs on.

But to add to your list, I have good feelings about Arizona and I wonder if Reynolds could be ousted if the wave is big enough. I don't think these people necessarily have to be very unpopular and/or in hyper-Democratic states to lose. Iowa is swingy enough and Reynolds may not have the same kind of incumbency advantage an elected Governor would have. Further, the RGA's worrying about AZ and Ducey's not-that-great approvals seem to give hope to Democrats.

I think the race is Likely R at the moment, but I expect it to tighten substantially by November. Maryland doesn't have a history of reelecting GOP governors unlike, say, Massachusetts, where Baker is guaranteed to win by double digits.

The polls I don't like are trash, the one I like is good tho....
In seriousness Rauner is done, Ige will lose his primary, and Malloy could pull Connecticut down with him even if he's not on the ballot. Both Walkers are in tossup races

Ive been saying on here for almost a year that Walker wont win.

Alot of these Tea party doofuses only won because of a push back against Obama. They are like all those Democrats that got elected after WaterGate who then promptly got BTFO in the 1980 realignment of Reagan. People didn't elect them for any other reason but historical circumstance and rage. That's why alot of these Tea Party candidates like Rick Scott, Scott Walker, Rauner, etc... wont win. They weren't elected for their policy positions and with the boogeymen of Hillary and Obama gone, they have nothing to run on or to motivate their base with.

I do. It’s still a tough, inelastic State even with great approvals, and he no longer enjoys the luxury of Anthony Brown for an opponent

Yeah, no. Not gonna happen.

As a matter of fact, it appears to be the opposite. Walker's stooge flopped spectacularly in a 12-point statewide loss, mostly sporting Trump numbers in WOW and Romney numbers elsewhere, if not worse.

Win a third term, which no Wisconsin governor has ever done, in a D wave year? I think not.

I think Walker faces an uphill battle, but no Wisconsin governor has ever won a third term?  Huh?  Tommy Thompson won four terms.
