Vermont so we can get rid of St. Bernard, plus it's way too white for me anyway.

Washington. They’re basically the same as British Columbia west of the cascades anyway

Greenland.

Alaska makes more sense than the other states but still no.

The only places I’d give to Canada are Point Roberts, WA and Northwest Angle, MN.

edit: Adding St. Pierre and Miquelon, it could join Quebec.

Vermont, Minnesota, Alaska and Montana are always welcome to join their Canadian brethren.

Canada should not expand to include any US state. Out of these, I'm going with Bermuda, as it's the smallest and least significant island and is current a tax haven. The Bahamas are too important and have too much tourist appeal for Canada to be allowed to take it, and Canada's horrible treatment of Native Americans is too well documented for Denmark to give up Greenland. Greenland also has way too many natural riches for Canada to take it.

Definitely Greenland, though it would likely join as a territory as opposed to a full-fledged province given its low population.

As a Canadian progressive, Vermont would be the most preferable.

I think Maine is the one that is the most "basically Canada already".

1. Alaska
2. Greenland
3. Bermuda
4. Maine

The others wouldn't make much sense at all.

It will solve the issue of Greenland wanting independence, but having feasible root to achieve it.

Unacceptable, as that would make the borders look hideous without putting at least half of NH and a big chunk of north upstate NY as well.

My comment was obviously rather biased against Canada, but I have no idea what you're trying to say here.

The USC vs. Jesusland map is amusing.

Responding to EC's idea directly:

Canada, in red, annexes 3 states. Because NYC is now part of Canada, and is the reason that NY is Safe D, New England minus VT is spun off as an independent nation. ME and NH are not safe D, NH is maybe lean D while ME-02 voted Trump. I also no longer consider MN to be safe D as Clinton won by less than 2 points.

Canada's population increases by 78%.
