Voted Sanders in this poll, though it remains wide open.  I realize that Biden is "leading" in most of the polls, but his public comments on the matter continue to suggest to me that he has a lot of doubts, and I still don't think he has more than about a 1 in 3 chance of running.  And then if he runs, he's far from a sure thing to win the nomination.  I think he's more likely to end up leaking his early support to other candidates than Sanders is, though it's certainly possible that Sanders doesn't run either.

I think if the Dems are going to go old, they might as well go all the way on oldness:

Joe Biden.

Biden/Harris will be the ticket.

I said Kamala Harris, though I am not particularly confident about it. I think Sanders could do well in a crowded field, so he is my second choice.

Harris, though, could be a strong candidate because she is establishment-friendly while being liberal. I know there are some issues with her AG record, but she could have some upsides if she runs a strong campaign. Negatives would be that she could be easily painted as a San Francisco liberal, or Pelosi-esque and out of touch.

Me trying to figure out why Gillibrand is third in this poll:

Delaney has a better shot than Gillibrand, not even joking.

I honestly voted Gillibrand because she is the one I would like the most as a nominee, but I think that the only way she has a serious shot at the nomination is if Harris and Booker end up not running.

However, she still has a better shot than Delaney.

If he runs, easily Sanders.

It's 1972 all over again (though Sanders will probably win the whole thing this time, barring Trump retiring or getting impeached).

I keep voting O’Malley out of wishful thinking. Or habit. Both, maybe.

Realistically, it’ll likely be Sanders if he wants it and Harris or Gillibrand if he doesn’t.

I have a feeling that 2020 is going to be like 1992, 1988, or 1976 in a sense that it'll be a little known candidate that we least expect.

Agree with this one. Biden won't even run, I'm pretty sure.

Biden and Sanders will be 77 and 78 years old respectively at this point in 2020. Neither of them is going to be the nominee. Not no way, not no how.

I voted Harris.

NOTA, it could be one of the above, but I voted that way, because nobody knows. Only one of the people listed has officially declared.

Voted Warren.

For the three people who voted Clinton...how many times does she have to tell you she isn't running?!

People are really underestimating Gabbard she's a classic dark horse candidate.

Biden, but I don’t think any single individual has greater than a 1 in 3 chance this early on.  It’s wide-open.

I'm actually not even sure anyone has a more than 20% chance at this point, which is pretty remarkable.

I wonder if that rock he dropped in the lake is still there. If it is, it should be dredged out and placed in the Smithsonian.
