Reagan probably drops out and endorses Jesus. Heck, McGovern might Tongue.


EDIT: That is, of course, you mean Jesus Christ. Jesus Bgwah would win 4th place PV (behind some Libertarian), and no EVs.

Jesus would be an anarchist in modern day politics, he certainly would have frowned upon the government telling everyone what they can and cannot do. That's supposed to be God's job. We are honored members of his family. Grin

Doesn't matter what he would believe now (and I disagree with you that he'd be a staunch economic conservative), but his comments about the poor and the rich, about peace and war in the bible would easily be construed as hippy liberal pinko garbage if anyone but the Son of God had said them.

Jesus never went into government intrusion into the economy, domestic policies, or anything like that. He dealt with personal issues, so we can't say where he would fall on the spectrum. I think he would be a Democrat, but that's just me.
