After eight years of Obama-Biden, and after the death of Vice President Joe Biden's son, Beau, Biden decides not to run for president, and the Hillary Clinton email scandal plunges Secretary of State John Kerry to become the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee after beating Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in crucial primary states.

Meanwhile, the stop Trump movement prompts the GOP to nominate Mitt Romney again as the 2016 Republican presidential nominee in a brokered convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

Two bitter Northeastern rivals. Two blue-blood candidates in a anti-establishment era.

Kerry vs. Romney. Who wins?

Kerry wins because the Trump voters would refuse to vote Romney.

Romney/Rubio defeats Kerry/Kaine 321-217 and by 1.3% in the popular vote.

Romney does significantly better with suburban voters compared to Trump, however fails to perform as well with the WWC.

I'd flip WI and maybe NH and I'd agree.
