Eight years of Trump-Pence leads the GOP to an open presidential primary. Affluent Missouri Rep. Ann Wagner wins the 2024 Republican presidential nomination over Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, New Jersey Rep. Jack Ciattarelli, and Texas Gov. Ken Paxton.

Wagner appeals to economic conservatives, social conservatives and Republican-leaning Independents.

Wagner picks former Virginia Rep. Barbara Comstock to appeal to suburban Independent female voters.

Meanwhile, former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley wins the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination over Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro.

O'Malley picks Missouri Rep. Stephen Webber to win the heartland voters.

This would likely show that, given the nominees, Trump’s second term was particularly bad and alienated a lot of Republicans, causing them to revert to pre-Obama conservatism.

O’Malley victory with a margin similar to Obama 2012.

Rep. Stephen Webber would represent either MO-03, or MO-04 (Boone County area)

Webber is from the Columbia, Mo. area
