Can someone describe to me and/or give details of what single-payer healthcare is? Can you also provide some links describing what it is?
I don't have a lot of knowledge about the subject and would like to know more about it.

Imagine Medicare, which exists for everyone 65 years and older, but for all ages.

Or Medicaid, which exists for some low-income people, but for everyone.

There's also the National Health Service in the UK, and something similar in Canada.

Single-payer Healthcare is when the government is the only one paying for everyone's healthcare (they are the: Single. Payer.) and it's paid for by a tax... but that tax is usually less than what people actually spend on their health insurance.

Want to make it simple? You pay your taxes for X amount for healthcare. When you need medical care you go to the doctor, you get treatment, you leave, you don't pay again.
