New York City mayor Bill de Blasio (D) wins the 2020 Democratic nomination by forcing Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown out of the race, squaring off against centrist John Hickenlooper. He defeats bitter rivals New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and California Sen. Kamala Harris for the 2020 Democratic nomination as well in a bitter battle. He faces off against President Trump. De Blasio is seen as too left-wing and uninspiring, he loses convincingly to Trump. I'd give Trump his 2016 map plus Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, and maybe Maine At-Large.
