I have been on this forum for the past two months. Although that is a pretty short amount of time, it's been enough for me to grow a bond with the community. I feel that you all have been a great place to be. So, I have decided to share something with you.

I am a bisexual.

I have known this fact for two years. My family knows. My IRL friends know. In fact, even the Atlas Discord knows. But, I haven't told anyone on the forum. So, I just wanted to get that out there.

So, I got that off my chest. Hope you guys don't lynch me.

Most of those don't exist but yes to be fair like 85% of Atlas is functionally asexual.

As a Log Cabin Republican, more and more of our party are becoming inclusive to people who like their own sex (including our president, who has consistently vowed to protect the gay community). Does this mean we believe that a man can just become a woman out of nowhere? No. Its completely ok, to be gay, let alone being bisexual.

What that means is that if you are a man and you simply say your are a girl (or anything else to be exact) and expect everyone to refer to you with she-her, or some other pronoun, and expect women to let you into their bathrooms, then why don't you just join the democrats if they cater to you so much. If this is transphobic, then let it so be.

But if you are a male or female and love people of your same sex, whether you are gay or bisexual, then I stand by your right to marry, and I stand by your rights against discrimination. I stand against discrimination for pretty much all fronts (I do not believe that a baker who refuses to bake a cake for a gay wedding is an example of discrimination, rather, he is using his rights of religious freedom and the freedom to refuse service to anyone who he wants, as he is the shop owner,).

This has nothing to do with that. Its a simply stated fact that currently, the republican party is almost or is pretty much as accepting to gays as the democratic party was pre-2006. Any one who supports limited government, lower taxes, responsible spending, energy independence, and a strong military, regardless of sexuality, is likely to vote for the republican party based on policy. The democrats think they own the gay vote, they think they own the black vote, the native american vote, the hispanic vote, and so on and so on.
