They're both Dem senators up for re-election this year who are facing high-profile (notice that I don't say "strong" or even "serious", I say "high-profile") primary challengers. And they're both from safe states, so the action will be in the Democratic primary.

I'm going with Cardin, especially considering who his opponent is.

Cardin for sure. Nobody is taking Manning seriously as a candidate, unlike De Leon.

Feinstein is challenged by a credible opponent, an important State Senator. Cardin is challenged by an edgy traitor who's friendly with nazis and probably holds all sorts of antisemitic and extremist views.

Neither should be re-nominated. Both will be.

This thread is irrelevant. Feinstein won't go down in the primary, but there's the possibility another Democrat gets nominated as well.

Cardin. But both will win, and it's good.

Am I missing something? California doesn't have primaries, right?

California has a top-two primary similar to Louisiana.
