After Carl Levin retires, Governor Rick Snyder, sensing an opportunity jumps into the Senate race.

Democrats still nominate Congressman Gary Peters.

Who wins the Senate race, and as a bonus, with Snyder vacating the Governors mansion, who now wins the Governor's race?

I'm gonna say since Gary Peters was relatively unknown, and even though Rick Snyder wasn't that popular in 2014 he'd still have mass name Rec, and the overall 2014 Environment, I say it's a narrow 49-47 win for Snyder.  The Gov. Race becomes 2018 4 years early, Schuette v Whitmer, and Schuette wins about 53-45.
