Tammy Duckworth was elected President in 2020. She successfully passed free college, public and private, in her first thirty days. Afterwards, Duckworth successfully created a universal healthcare system that cost about eighty billion dollars annually, which also reduced Medicare and Medicaid costs to $170 billion. Finally, Duckworth raised the minimum wage to $11.50. In her final four years, Duckworth reformed the tax code, setting income taxes(10%/20%/30%/40%/45%/50%) and corporate taxes(10%/20%/32.5%/39.5%/35%) at new levels. She also passed a bill raising the minimum wage to $13.50 by 2032. Bel Edwards now runs as the Democratic nominee against Florida Governor Carlos Curbelo.

Sounds like Duckworth was very successful and presumably popular as President. With that in mind, and considering Edwards' strength, I'd say something like that:

Bel Edwards 311 - Curbelo 227
