I don't know if the military burial idea will fly.  I'm certainly not opposed to it, but you never know.

I certainly think that Peter Wang should be recognized for the Amazing FF that he was in life by being posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.  Others are alive and physically unharmed because of his bravery and sacrifice.  My hope is that when Trump presents such an award, he can resist his unfortunate tendency to get off track and self-aggrandize.  I certainly hope that such a ceremony happens, and with the reflective sobriety such an event deserves.

His parents speak little English so were unable to talk much to the press. But there's no reports of any siblings. But according to your president they are just immigrants from a sh**thole country.

That's grossly unfair to Trump, who recognized the valor of students and teachers in this tragic event in Parkland.

Blame Trump for what he actually says and does.

Get your head out of your ass.

I guess I'm going along with the premise that two (2) wrongs don't make a right.

The solution is obvious:

Repeal the 2nd amendment, and ban all guns for both all private individuals, and for law enforcement.

I think Republicans should be pressured to fully allow everyone to carry weapons into their events/the RNC.

I think if Trump offers an award to any of the heroes here they'll reject it and wait for the next Democrat to come into office.

God you're a hack. When only one party is trying to prevent more gun violence, of course they're going to be more partial to it.

He called them "heroes" and didn't say that it's necessarily bad. Plus, I understand from his posts that he supports gun control. That's not hackish at all.

So just who WILL have guns in your own Private Idaho?

If they can find a venue that allows it, and the Secret Service okays it, I'm sure they would.

No one. That's a good thing!

Absolutely. The GOP should follow the example set by their fellow alleged Russian front organization, The National Rifle Association, which will allow firearms when it celebrates gun violence in Dallas this year, fifty-five years after President Kennedy was assassinated by rifle there.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-20/florida-teachers-pension-fund-invested-in-maker-of-school-massacre-gun

"Teachers' Pension Fund Invested in Maker of Gun Used in Massacre"

Of course that was a bad investment since late 2016.  Trump's election victory was very bad for gun manufacturers.  Most gun manufacturers stock surged leading up the the 2016 election on the expectations of a Clinton victory followed by a surge of guns sales as a result in anticipation of new gun regulations.  Trump's victory actually then depressed gun sales on the premise that one cal always just buy one later when one can justify it from a financial point of view.    So the best way to reduce guns is to keep on electing Republicans for President.

The schools solution appears to be clear backpacks for everyone! Like that will actually stop anything.
