If the results stay the way they are at this moment, wouldn't this cause an automatic recount on the GOP side?

If I read the JoCo web site correctly, they haven't even reported all the early votes.  Obviously something actually has gone horribly wrong.

What about joco isnt horribly wrong?

Another 90 precincts and Colyer cut the margin by about 200 votes.  Still can't tell if all the early/absentee was counted.  It's on pace to be within a couple of hundred either way.

On the congressional side, Davids is making up ground rapidly and should slingshot past the Missouri guy.

Kris Kobach hates us and if he had it his way we would be registered on a national registry like the jewish people before and during WW2 under Hitler. Even the two republican muslims I know would vote for the democrat over him.

I hope Colyer wins the primary and loses the general. This was just a reference to the "official" 537 votes that gave us W.

I was also wrong in thinking that Barnett backers on election day would roll over to Colyer.  Barnett is actually doing better on election day in JoCo than in the early vote.

Even though Colyer won the EV by about 15%, it looks like he's only winning the ED vote by about 2%. It seems like a crapshoot whether or not he'll make up the margin, and it seems very likely that this will be close enough either way to be in recount territory.

Excepting remaining precincts to give Colyer a lead going into the morning but there’s still a lot of game left to play. No one should be  declaring victory tomorrow.

So does Colyer win relatively easily without the god emperor's endorsement?

He's down at this point?

I wonder whether there will be a recount?

Well, it seems conservative Republicans may get back some of the seats in Legislature, that went to their "moderate brethern" two years ago in anti-Brownback wave.  According to incomplete data (JoCo still counting) thay managed to beat moderate candidates in Districts 8, 28, 74, 75, 80 and 104 (by 1 vote). Many of these districts were strongly pro-Trump (districts 74, 75, 80 - gave him more then 70%), so, may be it's not so surprising. Moderates can boast only primary victories in districts 5, 64, and 93 - all open seats, and in Commissioner of Insurance race... Absence of Brownback probably moved some of the "swingy" republicans back right.

P.S. Overall, out of 30 Republican primary races, marked in RRH preview as "moderate vs conservative", conservatives, by my count, lead in 19, moderates - in 11.....

The latest vote dump saw Johnson County up to 63% of the vote count

Kris Kobach
121,203   40.7%
Jeff Colyer*
120,662   40.5

Kobach's lead actually grew a bit with the latest dump....

and

Sharice Davids
19,011    36.2%
Brent Welder
18,519    35.3

Sharice Davids takes the lead over Welder.

I stayed up to now to see how Kobach is faring and Johnson county is still being a pain in the rear, they are making Fulton look like gold standard, I guess we'll see what happens later, but if I had to guess, I think Colyer eeks it out, but that is a very unconfident prediction.

Like I said on the latest update Kobach's lead grew from 533 to 541, if I had to guess I'd say Kobach wins by 100 to 200 once it's all in, which I'm not sure what the automatic recount threshold is, but...., also, there are still provisional ballots, I think, luckily we don't have to wait 10 days for those.

Kobach doesn't deserve the nomination. He's a utter nut. Better Colyer is nominated and likely wins that we get the risk of Governor Kobach.
