Bad optics but the ruling of the presiding officer was exactly correct.  Doesn't matter if it's the state house, a school board meeting, or whatever, her actions were not procedurally proper.

If you read the comments on that FOX News article you'll immediately notice how even this became a partisan issue. Republicans dismissed the woman - alleging she was performing a political stunt, violated the rules and deserved to be forcefully removed, or simply attacked Liberals/Democrats. Nobody should be defending the forceful removal of a citizen for calling out politicians for being bought by powerful special interests.

Who gives a s**t?

You people would let the government murder your family if it followed the standard decorum.

Sure the presiding officer's ruling and her expulsion was "correct".  Which is exactly why we need more brave activists like her who are willing to go against the standard decorum to take an advantage of a platform and highlight these issues.  It's simply another form of protest and I'm sure she was willing to deal with the consequences to make her stand and get this in the news.
indeed, everybody played their roles appropriately here and everybody got what they wanted out of it.

Indeed, I saw someone comment that they forced their non-drinking daughter to get her blood drawn by her school's principal because the principal wanted to find out who threw a beer can from the football bleachers.

True. There are other venues for exposing that one's pols have sold out to giant corporations -- like letters to the editor.

There's nothing wrong with special interest $$ in politics. It's frankly a more responsible way of doing things than 'grassroots' efforts from uninformed citizens
