Joe is a fine congressman from what I've heard but I have a problem with democrats having the senate leader (Schumer) and the House leader from the same state

No one any good ever campaigns for it. Because there aren't very many of those, and they know they don't have a chance. The problem isn't just leadership, it's the fact that the whole party is the Clinton party.
