Beto O'Rouke loses to Cruz in 2018 but then in two years runs for Senate again and defeats incumbent Senator John Cornyn by less than one percent while at the same time President Trump still winning the state by around 8 points. Both Senator Cruz and his other fellow Texas Sebator Beto O'Rouke run for President in 2024 and both win their parties nomination. How would the map look and who would carry the state of Texas?

I say Cruz wins Texas by a slim majority, but Beta wins the election by a fatter majority.

Something like this. Texas is probably within 2-3%.
