Way closer than I thought it would be! Hopefully polling like this showing Biss in second might help him consolidate the anti-Pritzker vote and sideline Kennedy.

Not that Biss is great or anything but he seems like the best of a bad bunch to me.

Kennedy should consider dropping out if he really doesn't like Pritzker but I doubt his ego would allow it.

Excellent. A Pritzer Win turns a likely D race into a tilt R race.

I think Kennedy would be the strongest candidate but Pritzker should beat Rauner. Biss might struggle depending on how large of a lead Dems have on election night nationally.

Biss probably won't have a chance in the primary, either way.

More like Lean R, since Rauner has far less baggage than Pritzker, who also won't have the loyalty of progressives due his wealth.

Biss is the strongest candidate for Democrats, but it would take a major outside donor stepping in and supporting him before the primary, plus other candidates like Kennedy dropping out to win the primary.

I think Biss has a much better shot than he's given credit for. I'd say if he gets the endorsement of some national progressives he'll win and even without them he'll draw within 5.

Pritzker can obviously win lmao, although I agree that Biss is the strongest Dem. Only chris Kennedy would make this Lean R, with Pritzker and Biss it's left of tossup. That Blago stuff will hurt Pritzker but that stuff doesn't stick in Illinois.

Ugh, how are Democrats blowing this race?

Apparently for every Obama, Durbin, and Duckworth, IL Dems are contractually obligated to let the Republicans win with a Giannoulias, Quinn, or Pritzker.

Ugh! And if Rauner wins.. for the next two years everyone on Atlas will say Illinois is a lean R state for 2020 Presidential election because it is in the midwest

Doesn't We Ask America have a completely awful track record in Illinois? I seem to recall many of their predictions being way, way off.

Their record is mixed, but unfortunately they're often the only poll we have.

Illinois voters seem to have an obsession with venture capitalists. On both sides. #Bothsidesdoit
