A siege, no; an assault, and maybe then you'd have had a chance at penetration of the castle... but you'd never have left the Westerlands alive Wink

Ashara is up. I'm sorry for the delay, but I was not satisfied with the Victarion POV (I just cannot get into his head) and I wanted to give the second some extra thought. Tyrion is half-way done too, I'm hoping to get it finished within the hour. It also took some time to find a suitable picture for a young Tyrion...

I thought the Vic POV as pretty boss, but he could have been dumber for sure lol.

This one was definitely a better stroke of the pen however, same as the first Ashara and Cersei's. Alas, so falls Barristan the Bold... Unless he was getting the piss beat out of him to hobble him, no betting man bets against Arthur Dayne with Dawn in hand. I'd argue Barristan the finest knight ever to Grace the red keep based on his feats. Total badass... makes the Rhaella POV ring truer as well, good on ya both

I thought the Vic one was spot on!

But as to why Rhaella sent her finest to try and condemn Dayne at the hands of her Storm lord enemies...well, that suggests some very twisty and unexpected deal! I look forward to finding out about both that and Ned’s trial

I wonder whether we were all slightly backing the Barry we know over the Arthur we hardly know, regardless of our political interests...?

Nah Arthur Dayne had to prevail in this tineline, even if I weren't siding with that crew I'd want him to take it. Id have insisted on handicapping Dayne somehow had I supported the loyalists...

Right, Victarion, Tyrion and Ashara are up. End of Turn update will have to wait until I can get some sleep, it's been an emotionally exhausting day. I will confirm, however, that two players reached a game over.

Dun dun Duuuun, great job on the POVs Lumine, stuck the landing on a young Tyrion!

One was Quellon, and Tywin seems to be among the living as well as I'd guess Hoster by the sound of things, and Ashara would have heard about Ned or Arryn, yes? Hmm...

Doran, Oberyn, Varys, the Queen, Mace, Estermont... the plot thickens....

Superb Lumine and massive plaudits for the Sir Jeffrey Hudson pic too!

Given that Marwyn and Areo were the other POVs under consideration ...Doran, Mace, or another surprise in the narration like Euron’s coup at Casterly Rock

Or Ned, I don’t think Ashara need have heard necessarily, last minute duel etc

EDIT: of course meant Storm’s End re Euron not CR!

Not going to lie, gentlemen, I'm not exactly in top form.

Real life was rather improving a couple of weeks ago, but having to face yet another large disappointment, I'm a bit more melancholic than usual. I rather like this game to be honest (for me it has been rather fun!), but it does take significant willpower to actually write, hence the delays. I'm not explaining this to get sentimental, but it's probably best you're aware of what causes the delays.

I thank Mycool for an excellent performance as Doran and Bacon King for a truly stellar one as Quellon (I'm most impressed), and I hope both will continue playing. There might be a confusion on who the Dorne player should be now, as there's Dr_Novella as Oberyn (and it's up to him whether he wants to become full Dornish player as Regent) or additionally a new slot for a player (possibly Mycool if he wants to continue) as Elia Martell. I leave it to the affected players to choose.

Either way I'd like to start Turn 4 tomorrow or on Tuesday afternoon, depending on how melancholic I feel.

Lumine,
Shouldn't the regency go to Elia as she's older than Oberyn?

And by the way, I hope you will be feeling better soon, take your time, you're doing a great job.

And DKrol, we are the last loyalists alive!

Aw man, I did not bring my A game last turn! I really enjoy this game, and would love to continue as Elia, whether as leader of Dorne or as an auxiliary character. If Dr_Novella wishes to be Regent, I will absolutely not stand in the way.

Big shout out to Lumine for making my first RP of this kind so stellar, especially given outside circumstances.

Lumine, you are truly excelling yourself - this is my favourite ASOAIF game yet by a long way so far. I love the poetic epigraphs especially! Every turn is well worth waiting for, and please excuse any impatience - a mere by-product of the excellence of each instalment and wild anticipation for the next one

Real life must always come infinitely first and we are all thinking of you and sending best wishes when not trying to murder one another xxx

Lumine I've loved this game so far, you've been great at running it and writing it. I'm definitely continuing on as Balon!

I wish you the best and I hope your situation improves. I have depression so I understand the melancholy-induced delay and I think I speak for everyone here when I say to take all the time you need. You have enough on your plate so please don't add more stress on yourself by struggling to meet deadlines for us. Run this game at whatever pace is comfortable for you, take all the time you need, I'm happy enough just being able to play!

Remember we're all ASOIAF fans here. as long as you can post Turn 4 this decade you're still beating our expectations for new content lol

I'd be willing to if you so desire, if you wanna lead as Ella however I won't object.

And yeah Lumine, rl comes first, you do what you gotta do.
