Did anyone else see that travesty?

It went something like: "Well I didn't boycott the SOTU because, well, there will be a Democrat there soon, the office should be respected, and I hope others give me--uhhh---that future Democratic President the utmost respect."

He's so transparent at this, it's awful.

Why do I have a feeling he'll be the John Edwards of 2020? The overly ambitious boy wonder that makes his ambition painfully obvious, gets decent numbers in polling and results, but doesn't actuay win any primaries.

Booker has been the worst pre-campaign candidate for 2020 yet. He's flop after flop.

I'm reminded of Rubio's Freudian slip in 2012:

Edwards actually won two states in 2004, though he failed miserably in 2008.

Did anyone see Kamala's post-SOTU interview? It was good. She's really tuning herself.

John Edwards? he Would wish being with the same level of charisma and ambition like he did.
More like the Martin O'malley of 2020.

Btw, Booker (or more likely, his staff) annotated the entire SOTU last night, which you can read here:

Remember kids, it's OK for white males to refer to themselves as "the next president" or whatever, but not OK when women or minorities do it.

No it's not. And when did that ever happen without declaring your presidency?

Everyone who's ever ran a campaign has had someone introduce them as "the next President" or "the next Governor" or whatever even if they're trailing by 20 points in the polls.
