The news that Rep. Rodney P. Frelinghuysen (R-NJ) NJ-11 is retiring and will not run for reelection in 2018 sent shock waves throughout New Jersey and national politics today.

NJ-11 is R+3, a lean Republican seat anchored and held in historically Republican Morris County, but some areas of Essex, Passaic, and Sussex counties.

Which Republican post-Frelinghuysen can win the seat?

State Assemblyman Tony Bucco (R-Boonton)
Bucco would be a favorite of right-wing author and journalist Jerome Corsi of Denville, N.J.

State Senator Joseph Pennachio (R-Montville)
Pennachio would be a right-wing favorite as well, maybe even a bigger suburban right wing favorite than Webber. He wrote a nationalist manifesto in the 1990s, that may brand him as a fascist.

State Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Morris Plains)
A favorite of the suburban right wing in N.J., Webber could be the odds-on favorite to keep the seat Red. A youthful rising star in the NJ GOP and conservative politics.

Other candidates: Paul Miller, state Sen. Kristin Corrado (R-Passaic).

Jesus (R) or Roy Moore (D) are the best NJ GOPers to keep this titanium D seat Republican.

(R) may as well stand for (Raised my taxes) in New Jersey in 2018

[Atlas not realizing this is a joke]:
"Christie would be very strong, he won reelection with 60% of the vote and would make this safe R"

It isn't a joke. Thicc boy Christie is too irresistible to New Jersey voters and they will orbit around his mass. They will realize their mistake in electing Phil Murphy by giving the thiccc goddess Christie a 30% win in NJ-11 this November.
