Do we already have some Exit poll numbers split by age, education, gender and so on??
https://tvn24.pl/polska/wybory-parlamentarne-2023-wyniki-sondazowe-jak-glosowali-mlodzi-7392628
Some fun numbers: according to the exit polls PIS is the fifth (!) most popular party in the 18-29 year old category.

Wow. The 60+ category had the lowest turnout. Quite a degree of difference from most Western countries.

Perhaps even more surprising, Konfederacja is the 4th

wow, I hadn't seen it before, but I didn't expect the referendum questions to be so obviously biased.

Will the Senate results only come out tomorrow, like in 2019?

So last minute Kon -> PiS and PiS -> TD voter movement? Or perhaps Kon -> TD directly? Or perhaps just related to turnout vs. abstention numbers across various bases. In any case, I think Tusk is right in that this election can be called for the left.

Of course those are their 2019 voters, but it would make sense if there are more Konfa → TD and Konfa → KO voters than Konfa → PiS compared to the campaign as well. Their voters see PiS as basically socialist because of their economic policies and iirc it was them who caused Duda to almost lose in 2020.

(also, just as I'm writing this, TVP is talking about how many percent off the exit polls were in Słowacja lmao)

2 hours after polls close and no results?
It's always been slow + record turnout + 3 different ballots to count.

I get that, but still, it's very, very slow.

I don't think they release the live count in Poland, it's more like they will show partial results with say 40 or 50% counted, so it could be a while yet. To my mind, it always feels potentially a bit dodgier and less transparent than a live count.

Due to the lack of a live count, the Poland election night is one of the dullest anywhere.

So far nearly all counted votes are from abroad and basically all of them from the United States and Canada,  so they skew heavily towards PiS.

What´s the main reason Poles in Northern America are more conservative?? Is it because they emigrated much earlier than the Poles in Europe and therefore their only contact to their homeland is TVP Polonia?? So they´re getting a biased picture of the situation??

If KO+TD (which includes PSL)+Lewica get a majority, Tusk will become Prime Minister.

It's also their reasoning, i.e. to escape "komunizm" on behalf of "freedom".
