About 400,000 Displaced Persons came to the US after WWII - Ukrainians, Poles, Hungarians, Yugoslavs, Jewish Holocaust survivors and others.  Where did they settle?  My feeling is probably a majority of the Jews went to the NYC area while the non-Jewish ones were well represented in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit etc. but I have seen no hard data for this.
