Not a fan of Wolff, honestly. Making my way through his book right now and I think it was talked up way too much. Most of it was things that have already been known by anyone posting attention to the news over the last year. I could totally see him bringing this up to continue getting attention.

Adultery really tees me off, though. Since this claim is coming from Wolff, I'm "meh" on it. Since this is Trump, I'm totally sure he would be willing since he has done it multiple times in the past. So I guess I wouldn't be surprised if this was right, but since it's coming from Wolff, I want to be contrary and ignore it.

No one would act on it in this day and age, but adultery is technically a crime in both Virginia and New York (21 states in total still consider it a crime). Dumb laws are still laws, and the president should abide by them. In addition, a current affair is much more likely to upset the religious right. If this being news helps cut off his support there, then I hope it gets attention.

This is super meandering, but my main thoughts are that adultery is gross but Trump has a lot of other worse failures. But this might be the one to piss off the religious right, so let's see where it goes, even though the reporter is a bit dubious.

Would hardly be surprising if serial philanderer Trump is playing away and his marriage is by all accounts dysfunctional. Though nothing substantive has been presented yet.
