Michigan Counts! - A alternate 2012 Election Game

In the 2008 Democratic Primary, Senator Hillary Clinton wins against Senator Barack Obama due to the state of Michigan indeed being counted. Hillary and her running mate, Representative Ted Strickland of Ohio, would go on to defeat John McCain and Palin in a landslide Election. After her historic Victory, a margin that hadn't been seen since Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964 against Barry Goldwater, Hillary Clinton would begin to set her Administration ready to govern the country, though many in the nation are curious about the first woman President and what she might accomplish in her first term.

Clinton/Strickland: 454/72.51%
McCain/Palin: 84/30.76%

• March 24th, 2009, President Clinton is able to get her healthcare reform passed as well as her Economic Recovery plan and her plans for Alternative energy and infrastructure repair.

• June 30th, 2009: Sonia Sotohe replaced David Souter in the Supreme Court
  

• October 28th, 2009: Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, a measure that expands the 1969 United States federal hate-crime law to include crimes motivated by a victim's actual or perceived gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability is signed into law by President Clinton. Many Republicans as well as Senators Obama, Biden, and Edwards and even Somewhat Popular Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen who was considered as a possible candidate in 2008 challenge this law, stating that it could easily be abused and promote Censorship.

• January 17th, 2010: The Route to a Greener America Bill is signed into law by President Clinton. This law raises Taxes on Power Plants, Coal Mines, Oil Refineries, and other fossil fuel jobs to have the for Green energy to replace them and curb Global Warming.
  

• March 13th, 2010: President Clinton’s Economic Recovery plan as well as her Healthcare are revealed to be failures and the President's Approval begins to slowly but surely drop from her Highest at 54% and will continue to drop until January of 2011.
  

• July 15th, 2010: President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran somehow dies and does so suspiciously after Secretary of State Richardson has a short meeting with him.
  

• August 12th, 2010: President Hugo Chavez is killed by Venezuelan protesters. His replacement, Nicolás Maduro, is very unpopular and soon many Venezuelans begin to vote against Maduro's Socialist party. The Clinton Administration announces their support for Maduro but many consider that an endorsement of Socialism in general, which becomes a major weapon against the Democrats in the 2010 midterms
  

• September 12th, 2010: Despite desperate attempts from the Iranian Government to suppress information from leaking out, the public finds out about the corruption and after several failed protests, they enact a rebellion that begins a slow but steady process of Instability in the entire middle East, of which the blame is mostly cast on the Clinton Administration.
  

• October 18th, 2010: Bashar Al-Assad is Assassinated by what many assume to be an American sniper team. While the Clinton Administration originally denies this, Audio leaked from a secret meeting between Vice President Strickland, President Clinton, and Secretary of State Richardson reveals that the three had indeed been the reasons for the deaths of Chavez, Assad, and Ahmadinejad. Clinton's approval rating begins to plummet and Many Democrats states that they replaced a idiot with a War Hawk. Of these critics, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont becomes one of the most well-spoken critics of the President along with Senator Barack Obama, Senator Russ Feingold, and Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen, who was currently running for Lamar Alexander's seat, saying that the best way to face Clinton was to be in the Washington machine itself.

• November 2nd, 2010: The 2010 midterms in a mighty Republican landslide in Congress with 14 Senate Seats and 102 House seats going to them. An interesting pickup in Tennessee happened when Lamar Alexander lost his seat to Phil Bredesen the very same night Bill Haslam of Knoxville won the Governorship of Tennessee. At the same time, in the critical state of Florida, Florida Representative Marco Rubio defeated Alex Sink for the state Governorship. Rubio, whom had always been shown to be several points behind Sink in the race, won in the end with 57.6% of the vote.

• November 11th, 2010: Audio leaks of a meeting between the President and White House staff from November 3rd, in which President Clinton asks if the American people are stupid. The President attempts damage control but by then her Approval rating hit 30%.

• November 15th, 2010: Kim Jong-un is injured while his father is killed after several American Snipers are revealed to have shot them in an attempt to remove the North Korean problem from the equation. Many accuse President Clinton of issuing the order but she denies any involvement.
  

• December 5th, 2010: Secretary of State Richardson reveals that he himself instituted the Assassination attempt on the North Korean leaders. He promptly resigns stating that President Clinton was nearly impossible to work with and that it was a constant power struggle to stay in her favor or you would be fired. Clinton's approval rating hover around 25% for the next 3 months before it slowly begins to raise.
  

• December 17th, 2010: Senator Joe Biden of Delaware is named to be Bill Richardson's successor as Secretary of State. Joe Biden states that it's his way or the highway when asked what he thought about the inner politicking inside the white house.
  

• January 15th, 2011: After meeting with Secretary of State Joe Biden, Libyan Dictator Muammar Gaddafi announces that he is stepping down and will hold free Elections in 2012. While Biden’s approval for this goes through the roof, Clinton attempts to take credit but fails miserably and is reprimanded by Biden at a public meeting.
  

• March 16th, 2011: The Venezuelan, Syrian, and North Korean Civil War starts after the people grow sick and tired of the dictatorships in the country (Practical in Venezuela). The most important groups in these conflicts is the Gente por una Venezuela libre y unida or People for a Free and United Venezuela and the Los militantes enojados de la Patria or The angry militants of the Homeland in Venezuela (the former fights for Democracy while the latter is fascist), the Syrian Democratic People's Front and the Syrian Liberation Front in Syria (Former fights for Democracy while the latter fights for a Communist Revolution), and the Popular Front for a United and Free Koreas and the Supreme Leader's Regency in North Korea (the former fights for a union between both Koreas while the Latter is the Remnants of the actual Government while they search for a new leader). Joe Biden and President Clinton makes it abundantly clear that the United States would not get involved in any of these conflicts.
  

• April 29th, 2011: Infrastructure starts to show high levels of improvement and so the President's Approval begins to raise very slowly once again after being Stagnant for a few months.
  

• May 17th, 2011: A new faction emerges in the Iranian Revolution in the Southwest while the Government and IRDP (Iranian Revolutionaries for a Democratic Persia) forces battle over Tehran and the Northwest of the country. This new group, calling themselves the Grander Islamic State of Outer Arabia or GISOA, claims the entire middle East outside of Egypt, Turkey, and The Arabian Peninsula and are determined to be a Terror Organization that is far worse than Al Qaeda.
  

• July 16th, 2011: GISOA groups are found in Syria and soon it becomes apparent that Iraq may have a few groups in the area themselves. President Clinton's Approval Rating reaches the highest it's been for months at 36% before it stagnates, showing her a perhaps very bad performance against a Democratic Primary Challenger and especially against a Republican.
  

Rules

1. There are 5 phases for the game. Phase 1 is the Early Primaries that goes from August 2011- the Iowa Caucus on January 3rd. Phase 2 is the 2012 Primaries in which you could be nominated and it goes from the Iowa Caucus to the Convention. Phase 3 is Convention in which both Parties Declare their nominee and have their running mates selected. Phase 4 is the Pre-Debates General Election in which the candidate gets ready for the Debates as well as build upon initial support from the Nation. The Final Phase is the Debate and Post-Debate Phase in which the Candidates perform their hardest in the debates before Election Night.

2. A turn lasts for 96 Hours, though I will give a 24 Hour extension if Needed.

3. A Candidate can have three Endorsements per Turn but they must be reasonable. No inter party Endorsements.

4. A candidate can run more than one Ad if they make it past 10% polling Nationally.

5. A candidate will only get Delegates from a state if they get 15% or more in Polling.

6. There will be a Debate per Turn in the Early Primary phase. A debate can increase your standing and give you a 5%-10% support boost though with enough attacks that boost can end.

7. You can run as a Republican, Democrat, American Elect, or Independent but no one else.

8. Finally, Every turn there will be a news article updating current events, which can be the advantage or disadvantage of a candidate depending on the circumstances.

Action movie star Bruce Willis says that he will run for a independent bid for president in 2012 in a official statement from his spokesperson.

Despite having several movies still in filming Willis wants to run “After the horrific past few years” in which he called one of the worst days of Amercia.

Willis is still expected to finish filming of several movies despite this announcement.
