Does Comstock win the Republican primary, or does a Steve Bannon endorsed candidate win?

I was going to say that Bannon carries no water in Comstock's district, but then I looked at the 2017 Republican primary map:

Orange is Corey Stewart, and he actually carried most of the district (I looked on VPAP for a breakdown of the primary by congressional district and couldn't find it). Bannon is toxic in Fairfax County, and for the denser parts of Loudon, but maybe a well-run campaign could give Comstock a good run for her money. I have no idea off the top of my head who would be a good candidate from that district to take her on from the right, but who would have called Dave Brat a good candidate to take on Cantor?

If I had to make a bet I'd say Comstock wins, but there's maybe a 15-25% chance she could get taken down in a primary.

Yeah, as opposed to likely D.

Why don’t you just create a megathread called “Rochambeau’s Questions” where you ask your thousands of daily queries about politics.

Almost certainly, but I think she's probably done in the GE.
