If Roy Moore got elected to the Senate, how would the Republicans deal with him in their caucus? Would they exclude him?

They didn't exclude Ted Cruz, they've lockstepped to Trump. I don't see what makes Moore so special here and now.

He would be nominally allowed into their caucus, but wouldn't be put on any committees and the ethics committee would immediately investigate him. Upon its conclusion (several months later), McConnell would likely be cajoled into allowing an explusion vote, but it would fall short, with Manchin joining ~40 republicans in denying it the required 2/3 majority. Afterward, Moore would be forgiven and receive his committee assignments.

It'd almost be worse for the GOP if he won. He'd be a constant distraction, and the media would eat him alive. They'd probably move to expel him from the Senate (or at least the caucus) pretty quickly.

They'd suck it up and accept him, because they could use that 52nd vote. Let's not kid ourselves.

They'd get the 52nd vote regardless though. In fact, expelling him would provide them with a more reliable 52nd vote that wouldn't be an albatross around their necks.

They'd alienate the populist GOP base if they expelled him, and it's obvious they're terrified of doing that.
