These scared the crap out of me as a kid, I love the illustrations by Stephen Gammell.

I know, the illustrations really spooked me as a youngin', although the stories themselves aren't that spooky in hindsight.

Stories in general rarely are, for me. I'm too phased for a silly story to really get under my skin.

I remember them from elementary school.  Some of the stories seemed good, but can't say I'm a big fan.  Never cared much for horror as a genre.
