I'm announcing my run for the Lincoln Assembly as a member of the Labor Party. I'm running to give the people a chance to actually be represented and not too be lied too by nameless elites and numerous political bureaucrats. I promise if elected to listen to the good people of Lincoln, not fall into the endless mines of corruption and fight it always, and most forward of all to advance progressive ideas and ensure all citizens have a fair opportunity for Life and Liberty. I hope the good citizens of Lincoln can hear my platform out and vote in their own interest to create a Fair and Just society.

On the Issues -

Economic:

Infrastructure - Creating a Massive new Infrastructure bill to restore America's highways, roads, streets, city's, and much more.
Minimum Wage - Increased to 11:50$ and adjusted to inflation. Then should be sent to the states and begin the start of the creation and adjustment of the new minimum wage within the different states to create a living wage in each state.
Taxes - Progressive taxation. Support tax cuts for most middle class and lower class tax payers while support raising taxes on those making over $250,000 a year to a high of a 55% tax rate for those making over $5,000,000 a year. 5% is the new lowest for those making under $15,000 a year.

Social/Foreign:

Abortion - Pro-Choice however should be whenever possible to limit as much as possible. Limit after the Third Trimester or after the development of the nervous system.

Drugs - Marijuana should be legalized, taxed, and regulated to the same extent as Tobacco. End the War on Drugs and support the legalization and regulation of other Non-Lethal Drugs, while ending stiff punishment and high prison sentencing for most drug use.

Education - Education funds should be increased as its important for a educated populous. However nationalized attempts at education should end which includes that of Common Core. Give more power to individual state education sectors to create the Education agenda for the needs of that region/state.
Gun Control - Require training and background checks to own a gun. However still support overall Gun use.
LGBTQ - Same Sex Marriage should be kept legal and maintained. Support Workplace LGBT discrimination laws to end local instances of discrimination when possible. Transgender soldiers should be allowed to remain within the military however the costs of any surgery's should not be on the governments checkbook.
Military Budget: Support a massive overhaul of the Military industrial complex and support a end to fraud and waste within military armed forces. Support a overall reduction in Armed funds.
Russia: Support a friendly relation with Russia foreign policy wise to prevent escalation and support Russian claims to Crimea. Try to use Syrian conflict to gain some cooperation with Russia, though maintain distance. Putin is still a autocratic ruler and should be watched with a careful eye.
Syria/Iraq: Support Assad as a lesser of two evils against the Islamist rebels, while funding the Kurdish rebels and offering some assistance to them when needed. Support the creation of a Kurdish state while supporting a containment of the Syrian Civil war in Syria.
Israel: Support a Two state solution and threaten both sides in a negotiation if needed.
Saudi Arabia: Cut ties with Saudi Arabia until the regime collapses. Oil trade can still go on between the two
Iran: Support Iran over Saudi Arabia though maintain a watchful eye over Theocratic Iran. Support Democratic change within the country, however don't support any military means of doing it.

Environment:

Regulations - Maintain proper environmental regulations on land, water, and air usage while maintain good care of National parks. Support a federal effort to rejuvenate and revitalize Lincoln's parks and national parks.
Renewable Energy - Reducing fossil fuel usage is essential for combating Global warming. Support a reduction of 50-75% of all fossil fuel usage in exchange for renewal energy sources by 2050. Support the policy's of a Green New Deal just on this front.
