P.S. That's one of my favorite quotes, that Sanders one. I support him because of his message and history of fighting for justice and always doing what is right, regardless of the political backlash (even when it wasn't popular). That is the stuff integrity is made of.

Even if I only agree with him on 2 out of 3 issues (66% per ISideWith), I'm willing to support him because his more radical (imo) proposals won't become law. Most of the other Democrats I don't trust as far as I can throw them. They only stand for some of the proposals Sanders does because he pushed the Overton window left with his 2016 run. I probably agree most with Biden out of the 2016 field but I don't trust him to do what he says.

Obama ran on a public option to and we got federal Romneycare instead.

Sorry for the rant.

Also, ftr: Biden earned props from me for standing against the popular tide in the party against reparations and the Hyde Amendment but he reversed on the Hyde Amendment soon after entering the race. Sanders is not perfect by any means and his refusal to welcome pro-lifers like me into the party is disappointing but I don't think he is disingenuous when he takes a pro-choice position—and none of the other candidates were/are any less pro-choice than him [Sanders] after Biden reversed his stance.

Regardless of policy and party, I would rather know what I'm getting from the get-go.
