Following the 2020 re-election of then President Donald Trump's, the Republican party began a quick movement to the Nationalist side of the political sphere. During the next cycle, the Democrats would win three Presidential elections but because of the interference of up and coming Tennessee Governor Lewis J. Russell of the Neo-Conservative Party, Cory Booker, vice president to Kamala Harris from 2024-2032 and president from 2032-2036 Lost re-election to Senator Bill Haslam from Tennessee. Haslam would easily defeat the Democratic contender, Tim Kaine in a 334-224 landslide win, flipping the states of New York, New Hampshire, Maine, Maryland, Delaware, Minnesota, Vermont, New Jersey, and Conneticut while vastly helping the Economy in a grade a fashion. In 2044, However, vice president Rand Paul ran for office and won but only barely against then candidate Julian Castro and Lewis Russell, the Electoral map showing the victory:

Rand Paul/John Kasich: 279 Electoral Votes/42.4% of National Popular Vote
Julian Castro/Michelle Obama: 214 Electoral Votes/30% of National Popular Vote
Lewis Russell/Archie Jenkins: 45 Electoral Votes/27.6% of National Popular Vote

Following this very Close Election, Rand Paul would try his hardest to gain the support the nation and while it seemed to be quite robust from 2045 and Bill Haslam's administration, the stock market crashed in 2046, bringing the Nation into a new recession. Since then, Rand Paul has been working hard to keep the trust of the American people but right now, it seems he may be the Republican Cory Booker. In 2047,  primaries are now under way and with Lewis Russell stating that he may has interest in running yet again. With it being very Early in the campaign season, however, no one can tell if this race will be a victory for Rand Or a defeat and could it be possible that the Neo-Conservative Party could be the one party to break the two party system?

List of Presidents and their Victories:

Donald Trump [R] (2016: Trump/Pence v Clinton/Kaine 306-232; 2020: Trump/Pence v Sanders/Warren: 270-268)
Kamala Harris [D] (2024: Harris/Booker v Pence/Cruz 332-206; 2028: Harris/Booker v Ryan/Rubio 362-174)
Cory Booker [D] {Vice President 2024-2032} (2032: Booker/Castro v  Kasich/Walker: 343-195)
Bill Haslam [R] (2036: Haslam/Paul v Booker/Castro 296-242; 2040: Haslam/Paul v Chelsea Clinton/Swift 375-163)

You can play as any Democrat/Republican that you think is alive at this time to play them or you can create your own character and give them a backstory and stances. You can also play in the Neo-Conservative Party if you'd like. (Archie Jenkins is from Alabama).

Current House: 218 GOP-200 DEM-20 NCP
Current Senate: 41 GOP-36 DEM-23 NCP (All South East Senate seats and 1 from Florida to NCP)

Midterms in 2046: GOP loss of 10 seats, Dem Loss of 3 seats, NCP gain of 13 seats in Senate.

2044 Electoral Map via 2040 Census:

Current Issues:
Economic Recession
Green vs fossil fuels
China
Kurdish Revolution
Venezuelan Civil War
Saudi-Iran war
Free Trade vs Protectionism
Unemployment
Military
India v Pakistan crises
Health Care
Japanese re-Militarization
Mexican drug crises

Problems for the President in case a player chooses him:
Approval: 32%
Disapproval: 58%
Foreign powers really dislike him
Isn't really supported from the GOP Base.
Current percentage polling against a challenger in primary: 47%
Current percentage polling against a generic Democrat: 21%
NPC approval in following states:  TN: 75%; AL: 65%; MS: 67; AR: 64%; MO: 56%; KY: 54%; NC: 45%; FL: 47%; SC: 38%; WV: 43%; MD: 35%; DE: 43%; VA: 27%.

All of those challenges will have to be overcome somehow if Ron Paul can try to win.

First round of Polling from June 23- June 30th. After which, I will post a current approval rating for candidate in the states of the stage for the primary.

PM me for endorsements. All issues will be explained more in depth with the News thing. I hope to see players due well in this.

Issue #1: Venezuelan Civil War

Following the fall into absolute anarchy for the country of Venezuela in 2026, two groups quickly arose to challenge the dictator Nicolás Maduro. The Republican
Gente para una Venezuela gratis or People for a free Venezuela, and the fascist Civiles armados para una mejor Venezuela or Armed Civilians of Venezuela quickly rose to oppose Maduro from 2027-2034 rather peacefully but following Maduro’s assassination in 2035 by the CAV led to the beginning of a civil war in the Country. Maduro's successor, Tareck El Aissami, declared the arrests of several leaders of the peaceful movements against the government. In 2037, After years of corruption and Dictatorship, the people rose up in the cities of San Cristobal for the Republicans and Puerto Ayacochu for the Fascists.

During the last few years, the civil war has gotten far more violent though with Rand Paul announcing his support and giving aid to the Republicans in 2045 have slowly but surely began clawing their way to Victory. With the current state of the US economy and unpopularity of the President, the Republicans are fearful their support may be pulled and with it, the chance of them winning slowly diminishes.

Issue #2: Kurdish Revolution

Following the defeat of ISIS in 2018 due to the combined efforts of NATO, the Syrian government, Iraqi forces, Kurdish insurgents and Russian military units. Following this, many Kurds felt that they had respectfully earned a country of their own and then President Trump agreed, pressuring Iraq to give their Kurdish population their own country in 2021. Over the next 8 years, Kurdistan would absorb Syrian Kurdistan and Turkish Kurdistan before Kamala Harris, president of the US in 2029, cut off aid to the Kurds. The next 5 years saw Iraq, Syria, and Turkey reconquer their old territories. In 2037, the Kurds rose up against their oppressors and demanded that they either get their own country through peace or war. The answer was clear and on September 9, 2038, Kurdish rebels occupied several cities that were Kurdish majority in the region.

In the past 10 years, the Kurds have been quite successful, kicking out Syria in 2039 due to it being in the final stages of it's Civil war at the time and Iraq in 2041 due to President Bill Haslam cutting off their support for the war because of Iraqi war crimes, such as attacking Kurdish hospitals and schools in an effort to get them to surrender. Rand Paul would continue the policy of supporting the Kurds for the first year of his term. American support for Kurdish Independence was also quite high, at 67% supporting a free Kurdish state. That all changed on November 08, 2045.

On that day, three Kurds walked into an airport in Boston, Massachusetts and killed around 5400 People using LMGs, Pistols, and other weapons that normal security guards were not prepared to fight against. The reason these three men attacked Boston airport was for support for Kurdistan, or in their eyes, the lack thereof from the US. They heavily believed that the United States needed to give forces to aid in fighting for Kurdistan’s independence and the lack of troops in Kurdistan's name made them believe that the United States was secretly supporting Turkey behind the Kurdish Republic’s back. The president would double down on his support for the Kurdish forces despite many in the US feeling that the Kurds had forfeit their support by killing 5400 people, something which the Kurdish Republic still has yet to condemn. With multiple Republican congressmen and Governors as well as practically all Democrats and Lewis Russell of the NCP announcing that they would pull any and all support from Kurdistan until they condemned the actions of the terrorists, it is very likely that the Kurdish Revolution could end in defeat for the Kurds following whoever wins in the 2047 primaries and 2048 general Election.

Issue #3: Saudi-Iran war

With ISIS' defeat in 2018, The Middle East went back to the feud between the Shiites of Iran and the Wahabists of Saudi Arabia. in 2021, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, noted Islam reformer and anti-Shiite, Mohammad bin Salman, became the King of Saudi Arabia and launched several reforms of his as well as began to modernize and restructure his military based off Western ideas. Throughout the 2030s, Saudi Arabia and Iran reached an all-time high in tension after Kurdish rebels in the kurdish regions of Iran launched an offensive campaign and killed around 12,000 Iranian citizens. When interrogating the rebel's leader, it was revealed that they were funded and supported by the Saudis to attempt to disrupt their main rival in the Middle East.

For the next few years, Iran and Saudi Arabia's relations continued to boil until on June 7th, 2044, the Ayatollyah of Iran declared war on Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait. What came next was a surgical strike across all three nations to attempt to weaken them for an invasion before Saudi forces were able to halt the Iranian charge at Mosul. Following this, a stalemate occurred that has lasted for 3 years as of right now. The war has devasted the oil in the Middle East and despite the President's best attempts peace can not be brokered. The Democratic candidates state that they should sanction all 4 nations until the war ends, the republiucans states that they should give aid to the IKS (Iraq-Kuwait-Saudi Arabia) Alliance against Iran by giving troops while the Neo-Conservatives would rather use drone strikes to destory the alliance's will for war. All in this midst, the President, already unpopular, has instead remained neutral to act as a peacekeeper. With no end in sight and Oil quickly falling in amount left, this war may spell doom for the oil economy of many nations for decades to come if it is not stopped soon.

Issue #4: India v Pakistan crisis

in 2033, Then President Cory Booker gave a speech in Islamabad, Pakistan in order to honor several Pakistani soldiers who gave their lives fighting against Taliban remnants and Isis Remnants in Afghanistan before he went off-script, stating that India had never fulfilled their promise of giving aid in Afghanistan and that Pakistan seemed to be a more friendly ally. After Booker lost re-election, President Bill Haslam neglected Pakistan in order to repair relations with India. Once Rand Paul was elected president, he made a promise to treat one another as equals but following a Pakistani terrorist attack in New Delhi, it seems unlikely that peace may last longer between the two countries unless a solution can be quickly found.

Issue #5: Japanese re-Militarization

in 2018, Japan adapted Article 9 of their constitution in order to help largely rebuild their military in the case of a threat from North Korea and China. Despite North Korea's absorption into South Korea in 2031 after the North Korean Spring Revolution, Japan refused to quit it's re-militarization until China ceased all military exercises in the pacific close to the Japanese coast. Rand Paul, for the past 3 years, has been unable to get Japan to co-operate with him and due to that, it seems that Japan and China may go to war and may actually cause a third world war if it happens.

Issue #6: China

China has continued it's constant military exercises and island creation after Donald J. Trump left office on January 20th, 2025. Following this,Presidents Harris and Booker would only give China light punishments instead of what it really needed, this ended when Bill Haslam became president when he issued restriction on China. Following the election of 2044, Rand Paul lessened restrictions on China in a hopes to get them to co-operate more but instead they continued. Now a major issue in this election, many voters in america will choose whoever has the best policy for keeping the peace in East Asia with China threatening so many US allies in the region.

Issue #7: Unemployment

The Economic Recession of 2045 hit the United States hard, especially in the job market. in the past two years, Unemployment skyrocketed from the 3% of Bill Haslam's Economy and job market to 17% for Rand paul's. Despite the president's best efforts, the job market looks as if it will continue to flop and with it, Rand Paul may possibly lose the election if not the primary unless he can get something done.

Issue #8: Green vs fossil fuels

With the Iran-Saudi Arabia war boiling in the middle east, fossil fuels, especially Oil, has become rarer and with it came the rise of Green energy. the Balance of both typed the Bill Haslam had promoted in his presidency has now completely left america and slowly but surely, Green Energy has overtaken Fossil fuels has the main source of Energy for the Nation. Despite Rand Paul's best attempts, it is clear where the country is going and many agree, it will be time to admit it is time to switch over to Green Energy and leave the past behind for good.

Issue #9: Mexican drug crises

During the 2020s and 2030s, Mexico broke out into anarchy as drug cartels and the government fought in several cities for control of the nation. In August of 2042, the President of Mexico sent Bill Haslam a request to have American soldiers aid the Mexican army in securing peace and stability. Haslam introduced it as the Mexican Peace and Stability Act in 2043 to Congress and it was approved with resounding success by both parties on March 17th, 2044. Rand Paul sent Us forces there but it quickly became apparent that the conflict would become much like the Iraq War of 2004-2008 and because of that, support for the war dropped. Now with both parties having new members after the majority of the Senators and representatives who voted in the MPS Act was voted out in the 2046 primaries for congressional seats by fresher, newer faces. Now with Rand Paul's approval rating at an all time low and with many in all three parties condemning the military intervention in Mexico, it seems like MPS Act may be repealed even if Rand Paul, by some miracle, wins.

Issue #10: Health Care

The Repeal of Obamacare in 2019 led to a better Healthcare enrollment for people across the Nation and Kamal Harris kept this Policy in place during her own presidency. Cory Booker would introduce BookerCare in 2034 however and despite it being severely limited under Haslam, it still remains and Rand Paul's own congress has not offered a better alternative that will improve the Health Care market which means that the chance of Rand Paul getting the vote of senior citizens and the like is actually much smaller than it was in 2040 for Haslam. The Presidential candidates, like Lewis Russell of the Neo-Conservative Party, must find where they stand on the issue or face humiliation.

Issue #11: Economic Recession

The Economic Recession has hit America very hard and due to it, many in the nation feeling the states going on a downward spiral. Because of this, the chances of Rand Paul winning is slim to none and many have brought in ways that experts have agreed will improve the Economy.

Approval-Disapproval Rating for Rand Paul as President:

The New Conservatives: A brief insight on the history of the Neo-Conservative Party by CNN

Knoxville, Tennessee

Election Night, 2044

"Thank you for all your votes! Good night!" in Election Night 2044, this man, Lewis J. Russell, received 45 Electoral Votes from a Combination of the states of Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, and Mississippi in a good margin against his two Main party rivals. How did this come to be? For that, we have to go back to the year 2000 in Hudson Falls, New York. Born in this small town, not much is remembered about Lewis except that he was quite the chatter box. In 2006, his family moved down to Knoxville, Tennessee and from there, his life would quickly take off. A prodigy from middle school, his teachers would would constantly get the young Lewis to get a degree in History or Politics. He was uninterested in such things however, instead preferring a more Lazy and laid back lifestyle. That was until 2016.

In 2016, President Trump's election gave Lewis a New lease on life and he would go to College in 2018 to study Political Science, History, Economics, and other like wise ideas, passing each with flying colors. He graduated in the fall of 2023 and decided to do something spectacular. He announced he would run for Mayor of Knoxville in 2026 but not as a Republican or a Democrat. From 2023-2026, he would build the base for what would become the Neo-Conservative Party. Winning with 67% to the 23% of the Republican Candidate and 10% of the Democratic Candidate, it was an easy Victory. A staunch opponent to Kamala Harris and Cory Booker, he heavily disliked the policies of both and stated that he was going to make sure Tennessee wasn't going to be corrupted by them either.

In 2034, he ran for Governor of Tennessee against the Republican John Robertson and the Democratic Candidate Demi Miller and won the election with 53.4% of the vote to Robertson's 25.3% and Miller's 22.3%. though a technical landslide, in reality it was very close with it all coming down to Memphis, which went to Lewis by 1500 votes. He was able to get Tennessee up and going as one of the most functional states and was thus soundly re-elected in 2038 by a margin of 76.5%.

The last term for Lewis as Governor was the most fruitful as like he had done to his hometown, he turned Tennessee into a shining state that many in the country want to emulate. Of, course, everything was set out of place by the two-party establishment on August 13th, 2043.

In the sea of warfare between both parties for the best candidate, Former Governor of Tennessee, Lewis J. Russell has announced his own bid for the presidency. It was the announcement that shook everyone in every state to the core. He would choose the only other Neo-Conservative outside of Tennessee, Senator Archie C. Jenkins of Missouri, to be his running mate in the Election. He was admittedly the dark horse Candidate, reaching 20% very quickly by the debates. In each debate he proved his worth and was seen as real Presidential material. He would win the 5 states mentioned in a slight landslide and followed his Political career by becoming Senator of Tennessee in 2046. A staunch opponent to President Rand Paul, many in the South East seem to agree with his anger at the two party system of 1864. If he announced his Candidacy in 2047, it can be very well acknowledged that the entire Southeast may become Neo-Conservative wall.

Senator Archie C. Jenkins of Missouri (2034-present) who was Lewis J. Russell's running mate

It's June 30th, 2047 and Election season has just begun. This season, Democrats, Republicans, AND third parties look to unseat the very unpopular president Rand Paul, as the Approval-Disapproval map shows, it's a long climb for the President to be able to win. He is Most likely praying to god for a miracle or is not planning on running for re-election. So far, there has not been a single declared Candidate for the race but when one arrives, we will let everyone know it.We have done a series of Polling and around 28% of Americans approve of the Job the president has been doing. Against a member of the NCP, the president's chances are 12%-88% and up against a generic Democrat, his chances are 26%-74%. Finally, we have figured out the swing states of this election just from Polling and you will be able to see by what polling data shows how well the president could preform in each Swing state, but here are just a handful to show how large the hill Rand Paul has to climb will have to climb to be re-elected.

Illinois:
President: 5%
Generic Republican: 25%
Generic Democrat: 70%

New York:
President: 10%
Generic Republican: 30%
Generic Democrat: 60%

Tennessee:
President: 11%
Generic Republican: 19%
Generic Democrat: 10%
Generic Neo-Conservative: 60%

Virginia:
President: 7%
