I had the same question, but apparently the mayor-elect of Minneapolis. But no way in 2020. Maybe he could win a Senate seat later on, then I could see it. Maybe he wins the seat in 2020 from Smith? I doubt she'll run for it, though.

Reading about Smith, she seems like the most reluctant politician ever. I hope she writes a memoir about her unlikely career.

after looking at him, no not 2020. One day? maybe. 2024/28? possible. certainly possible. however we can say that about plenty of young politicians. Seems like someone to keep an eye on though, so good catch

Buttgeig is a better candidate, and that's saying something.

Frey only won office this year. It would be like Hillary running for President in 2008 after being elected Senator in 2006 (hypothetical, of course).
