The year is 1988. the month is August. the day is Monday. the time is exactly 2:25 PM. the weather is nice and sunny in San Diego. George H.W Bush is campaigning when he suddenly pulls out a gun and shoots a man in the crowd - that man's name? William J. Rutherford. After this, his Democratic opponent, Al Gore, wins in the largest landslide since the uncontested elections of George Washington, winning 70% of the Popular Vote to Bush's 20%, with 10% going to third parties.

Just a 50 state Democratic landslide using 2012 as a starting point. I didn't have a particular scenario in mind for this.

This is somewhat off topic, but not really. I notice that you were kicked by the moderator, CalBear, again, on AlternateHistory.com for posting the satirical Rutherford map. He really had little patience or tolerance for what I found to be a humorous take on my character. If I were you, I would try to tread more carefully over there.

Corker and Flake would probably be running for re-election, and would have won re-nomination if Clinton was president.

Also, a Clinton election probably would have come with Feingold and McGinty being pushed over the line in 2016.

Virginia probably would have been lost in 2017 in that case as well.

I will try my best, I really didn't anticipate I'd be kicked for that.

You are right about that. I've seen all of the posts and complaints made by people online about how harsh the moderation is there.

How did you manage to get the county generator working? Is there any way I could create maps similar to these?

That would've been my second guess.

I just took a random alabama map from the website like this https://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/state.php?year=2016&fips=1&f=1&off=0&elect=0 And I drag at the side to get the actual image.

LBJ does 10% better in 1964. This only flips Arizona and Georgia, but on the county level it flips well over 100 counties.
