 American diplomats called off President Trump's "working visit" to the UK less than 48 hours after he drew international ire for retweeting the leader of a British far-right group, according to a report.

Trump was scheduled to travel to London in January for the inauguration of a new American embassy. But those plans were dropped Thursday, a senior U.S. diplomat told the Telegraph.

"The idea of a visit has obviously been floated, but not December and not January," the diplomat told the British newspaper. "I would not expect a Trump visit in January."

From what I’ve read, even before all this it was never going to happen. Not surprised it was officially cancelled over this but it has indefinitely put on hold for quite some time. Apparently Charles, William, and Harry straight up didn’t want to meet with them for a myriad of reasons. Charles’s pet cause is climate change, Trump was obsessed with their mom and said some nasty stuff a few weeks after she died, and fairly recently he said some nasty stuff about paparazzi snapping pics of Kate sunbathing topless from like 1.5km away. Glad to see May put her foot down about this though.

Not scheduled. An offer was made and hasn't yet been withdrawn, but no progress has been made on it. May has been hoping to suck up to Trump so that he will agree to give her a nice trade deal, but she's completely mired in the mess that is Brexit. May's handling of the issue has made Trump look accomplished and confident.
