I'm genuinely sickened the recent trends on this forum. The "libertarian (/conservative)" craze is absolutely loathsome, and clearly represents little else than a cry for acceptance. Build your own ideologies please; Alcon is not your lord and master.

I can, however, respect the users that have not made 180° reversals over the past few months, like Emsworth, whose views are annoying but consistent.

Note the squirrel is holding a gun- which is used for his militia to overthrow the American government. Tongue

However, many other posters have changed much more than me in personality, such as trolls that have become all right and vice-versa.

Like who?

Alcon and Gabu were -8/-8 people when they arrived, they are now -2/0 and -4/4 about. I remember you were pretty hard right, until you began becoming constitution obsessed. A number of forum Republicans have gone from conservative to libertarian also. Few have gone from left to right or populist to libertarian.

In a topic about economic theory, we can debate economic theory. As for insults, when I'm dealing with a moron like you who thinks a higher minimum wage will lower unemployment, what do you expect?

A stronger lower class and middle class leads to more spending, which leads to a stronger economy. 86% of Americans think that the minimum wage should be raised.

Uh, the middle class does not get minimum wage.

A higher minimum wage merely shifts demand from one sector to another. It does not create new demand. This is a very basic economic fallacy.

They don't think it should be raised because it will lower unemployment.

Yeah, well, a minimum wage still helps people who get paid above a minimum wage. The fact is by increasing pay, more money will be spent back in the economy.

What's so bad about that, Mr. 940-heads-and-60-tails-are-not-statistically-significant? You're too partisan to even admit basic statistical facts.

Which will hardly replace the money lost due to higher wages and there will be no benefit.

You support the actions of a Democrat that had the effect of killing several hundred people, mostly poor and Black.  This is JFRAUD's Democratic party; fortunately, it's not the real one.

Of course, even on those threads you don't read, people criticize  your "statistics," without any solicitation.

You can quit straw manning me. Anyone who knows any statitistics will realize that you're a moron for still disagreeing with the following statement:

"A sample of 940 heads and 60 tails is statistically significantly different from that of a fair coin at the 95% confidence level".

You've had 9 months to figure that out, and you're still 100% wrong. If you can't admit defeat on basic statistical facts, why should anyone trust you on anything? You have zero intellectual integrity.

The Atlas has passed it judgment on that, repeatedly, and you've earned the nickname JFRAUD.  People are now volunteering to say you're wrong without any prompting from me.  I told a aquantence who writes and sells statistical programs (and actually has a doctorate in the subject) about your statements and we, laugh and laugh and laugh.

Please tell me why you support actions that had the effect of killing and injuring several hundred people, mostly poor and Black?
