- New Orleans hurricane
- San Francisco earthquake
- New York terrorist attack

Right-wingers can rejoice when FEMA's predictions all come true when the big one hits San Francisco.

Yeah they've known that for what, 60 years? 100? Well terrorism is a bit more recent but SF was totally destroyed in like 1906 by an earthquake. Takes a real professor to call another one. New Orleans has always been at risk and the Democrats that ran the state were too busy taking bribes to fix it (frm Gov. Edwin Edwards is still in jail, correct? And Rep. Jefferson is headed there shortly-- and that's just recently).

And, so far as San Francisco... I'm not gonna lie, it's hard for me to get too upset. They don't even want to be part of the US- I say let mother Earth separate them.

Obviously, Bush Let It [the hurricane] Happen On Purpose to boost his sagging approval ratings.

Bush 41 was blasted by the Democrats for not sending enough aid to Florida after Hurricane Andrew.  Today, the Democrats blame Bush 43 for the hurricane itself!

No, Jfern does.  He doesn't represent the mainstream Democrat by any stretch of the imagination.

Jfern and RFK Jr.

And probably a half-dozen nuts on DU...so "Democrats" isn't totally inaccurate.

Point taken, though.  I never intended (and hope never to intend) that Jfern is a mainstream Democrat.

Do you feel the same way about New Orleans, which is almost as democratic leaning as SF?  (In the last two presidential elections, both were in excess of 75% democratic).
