Thats some decent progress, very curious to see JMC's now since it would factor in some more time for the story to bake in

Yeah, if Jones can't even lead now at the height of the backlash he's definitely going to lose. I will now accept my accolades.

There is a good chance Luther Strange will run as a write in, causing Jones to win 45-35-20

Yea, also I assume the non-response rate of moore voters may skew this a bit.

I don't think it is super scientific to have a one day poll, either.

Jones has a twenty point lead with women.

So that gives me some hope.

Also only 500ish responses - higher margin of error.

More like 45-40-15.

Does one need to write the full name? I seem to recall in Alaska, people only needed to write Murkowski. If people only need to write Strange - well that is incredibly easy.

I refuse to get my hopes up I don't believe this poll especially post Trump. These people are probably lying to throw off pollster or because of social desirability.

And even if they spell it wrong, voter intent is the important part. I forget how many ballots Joe Miller challenged because Murkowski was spelt wrong and yet they still got counted.

So that gives me some hope.

That's a fairly typical gender gap in the South because black women are so much more likely to vote than black men.

Trending to Jones as expected. However, only with Strange as a write-in is a D pickup in the cards.
One-day poll and all, take it with a grain of salt as others have implied. Also, 77% polled were over 45.

Wow, the overconfidence from Republicans. You'd think they'd learn from 2012 and 2017...

What it takes to elect a Republican Senator in Massachusetts: The Democratic candidate being a lazy milquetoast who didn't feel like campaigning during a poor political climate for the Democrats.

What it takes to elect a Democratic Senator in Alabama: The Republican candidate being a literal pedophile. N/A

And then people say I'm wrong when I say that blue states are more open minded and that many red states would vote for Satan (R) over Jesus (D). Roll Eyes

Listen you aren't totally wrong but you're mind state is toxic and miserable to listen to. We get it, you think states like AL and WV are full of racist hicks.
