Happy the Democrat won.  Wish it were another Democrat (Jim Webb, generally).

It's a weird feeling.  Somewhat vindicated, a little smug.  I'd rather see the old Republican Party doing well, but not the zombie Trump cult that exists now.  I hate both parties bow.  It's bittersweet.

It's an joyous feeling when you see the Democratic Party dominated. The resistance against Trump is building as more people are not buying into his used car salesmanship. Virginia results should bold well for the party takeover in 2018.

Not tired of winning yet!

Approximately the same. Though have nothing against Northam personally. i am fine with his candidacy...

Happy the Democrat won.  Wish it were another Democrat (Jim Webb Tom Perriello, generally).
Also happy about the downballot results (namely Roem and Carter).

If nominating a Trumpkin was the answer, why did Trump himself lose VA by 6%?

Meh. It should of been Perriello who won, not some bland centrist type like Northam.

I would have supported Webb over Gillespie honestly

A good candidate was dragged down by an unpopular president.

Better than losing it by 9%.

The answer is that VA is no longer in play for the GOP, just like how GA and AZ are now effectively swing states (nominally at least) and how IA and Ohio are now in the lean Republican column.

And Corey losing by six is better than Gillespie losing by nine, but hey, a loss is a loss.

Sad, but expected. Virginia is a blue state.
