I've been here since the 2014 elections, and it seems to me most of the prolific posters here are between the age of 20-28

Does this imply that many of the people that use this forum are poli sci grad students? That would also make it understandable why the board is left-leaning?

I've been here a bit over a year now. I'm certainly not one of the "most prolific posters," but I'm 23 and have a BA in Sociology. It seems reasonable to conclude most notable posters here are around college age or slightly older and have or are working on a degree (probably most likely in a PoliSci or Humanities).

That seems to be the case. I'm not overly familiar with the community but it intuitively those are the kind of people that would be inclined to spend hours on an election forum arguing about what the results really mean. I am a 20 year-old poli sci econ double major.
